Count your blessings!
It’s easy to get caught up in what you don’t have, so much so, that you forget how blessed you truly are. Little things that you (we) may take for granted, are truly blessings. I try to remind myself (& son) of this often.
We live a very blessed life. I’m not talking about being rich. We are not. But just, simply, life in general.
We have a warm home, a shelter from the cold. A retreat when the sun is warm. …Electricity, washer/dryer…warm comfortable beds….hot showers…
Clothes to wear, food to eat, cars to drive.
For the most part, we are all healthy.
We are all saved by grace and look forward to an enternity with Christ and eachother.
My husband, not only has a job, but at a company where serving Christ and telling others about Him is a priority.
We live in a country where freedom is a blessing.
We are part of a church body and are free to worship our God.
We have the love of a large extended family.
I am blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom.
All of these blessings & more.
Not because of who we are or what we’ve done, but because of Christ and His care for us. |
