autumn greetings {sunday scrappin’}

managed to do some scrappin’ today…infact, some sunday scrappin’.

the challenge: to use up some ribbon

my ta-da’s: 2 autumn cards

my to-do’s: 5 more giftbags for my etsy store, a few more cards, a few layouts for a scrap-job i’m doing

i like the cards. the stamps are from papertreyink. i don’t particularly like how the chalk looks. i am hoping to invest in some copic markers eventually, here’s an example using the markers….although, i’m not much for coloring, so i’m not sure i could do them justice.

hope your sunday went well. we are fighting the sniffles and sore throats and my poor hubby, who worked around 85 hours last week on a special project at work….needless-to-say, we are all wiped out, for one reason or another.

Lovely card. I think the coloring is great. I would love to get a set of copic markers too, it’s on my ever growing wish list. Hope your feeling better and you have a less hetic week.

Your cards look amazing Krista, I think the copic markers would give it a more defined look as opposed to the soft look of chalk. Have you tried watercolours?
